Ready to Build this Spring?


First off, we hope you had plenty of time to relax, recharge, and have fun with your

friends and family over the holiday season.

Now with the New Year under way its time to start coming up with your plans for the next 365 days. Have you been thinking about doing that renovation, building the carriage house in your back yard, developing a multi-family unit, or building your dream home this year? If you have, time is of the essence and it's a great idea to get started with your plan ASAP!

Depending on the project you have in mind and other constraints our design time from conception to building permit submission is anywhere from 6-12+ weeks. Add to that 5-6+ weeks at City Hall or the Regional District in your area and we'd be making good time to have your permit approved by March 21st at the earliest if we started TODAY and it would not be uncommon if approval didn't happen until closer to summer.

In the City of Penticton there are new regulations that require a Development Permit be submitted before Building Permit submission for things such as carriage houses and multi-family units which adds an additional number of weeks to the whole scheme.
