Design Phase [How to Prepare]

Interior Design Mapping helps you plan your finishing materials

You've got your financing in order, you've got a piece of land in your ownership and a vision. You may have even spoken to a local house builder. Now what? The Design Phase!

Even if you've done a few builds in the past the nervous/excited feelings are bound to come up! It is the biggest investment most people will make in their lives and you want to make sure it turns out the way you want.

If you are ready to start your design phase and begin pulling ideas together to build your custom house plan we suggest starting a Pinterest board, find images on the internet, magazines, even drive around town taking photos and find your style, interesting architectural details, material finishes, etc. This is when you want to find the "vibe" so don't be scared to throw in a healthy mix of inspiration!

We'll collect your findings and analyze them to uncover the perfect style, form, function, and feel of your finished product in a 3D model for you to "explore" before your plans are printed and submitted to the municipality. With our "Interior Design Mapping" services in the design phase we can work with you to find selected material finishes and plug them into your model to test various finishing ideas, then you can work with your contractor to select the finishes that you've already laid out in your plan!
